Tournament Rules


  • HC Eindhoven is not responsible and/or liable for matters that take place outside the club grounds;
  • It is prohibited to use open fires such as barbecues, gas burners, etc. on the entire site;
  • HC Eindhoven is not liable for theft and/or loss , each team receives a key for a locker upon arrival at the tournament, which can be used throughout the tournament;
  • The internal regulations of HC Eindhoven apply fully for the duration of the AB Tournament to everything else where the AB Tournament regulations apply does not provide for this;
  • The tournament committee and security have the right to grant access to all tents on the site when they deem this necessary;
  • In the event of vandalism or other excessive or repeated nuisance behavior during the tournament, including the party and the night, the tournament committee decides to exclude further active participation in activities.
  • The tournament committee is authorized to remove persons who do not comply with the special provisions from the site;
  • All costs of destruction caused will be recovered from the perpetrator(s);
  • HC Eindhoven reserves the right to look in the bags of the participants, if we suspect that they contain alcohol and/or other prohibited objects. These matters will then be taken by the tournament committee. If participants do not cooperate with this bag check, the bag will be refused at the camping site;
  • the intention is that everyone will be in the clubhouse during the party. Playing your own music is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM. If this does happen, this installation/device will be confiscated until the end of the tournament;
  • The facilities of HC Eindhoven can be used. Be tidy in the toilets and showers. Please leave them clean after use; We would like to urge everyone to leave the tables tidy after the meal and to deposit the waste in the appropriate waste bins;
  • Every participant and supervisor will receive a wristband. This wristband must be visible during the entire tournament;
  • At least 2 supervisors must be provided per team with a minimum age of 21 years. Coaches or supervisors are responsible for the behavior of the team throughout the weekend;
  • Coaches or supervisors and participants must bring a valid (physical) ID;
  • The supervisors of a team must be present with the team during the entire tournament (also in the evening/night);
  • The deposit of €100 will only be returned after the tent camp has been neatly delivered and the locker key has been returned. The deposit will be returned by bank transfer (no later than May 26, 2024);
  • Delivering the tent camp and recovering confiscated items is only possible after playing the last match on the Monday of the tournament. Leaving earlier than the last match is not permitted.

Alcohol and Drug Policy

The tournament committee would like to reflect on the following agreements:

  • It is legally prohibited to consume alcohol under the age of 18.
  • Smoking under the age of 18 is prohibited at our tournament.
  • Each participant will receive a wristband at the start of the tournament. A different color per age category. This strap must be worn visibly at all times. Persons without a wristband will be removed from the site.
  • During the weekend, at least one supervisor per team must be fasting. The tournament committee would like to urgently request the teams' supervisors to ensure this.
  • It is prohibited to enter the artificial grass fields with alcoholic drinks and/or cigarettes.
  • It is forbidden to bring alcoholic drinks to the tournament. The tournament management will confiscate and keep any drinks you bring with you.
  • It is prohibited to take glassware onto the camping site. Taking glassware onto the camping site can be seen as misconduct.
  • All forms of drugs are prohibited on or around the grounds of HC Eindhoven.
  • If drugs are found, those involved will be excluded from active participation in the tournament.

Competition rules

To ensure that the tournament runs as smoothly as possible, we ask all teams to adhere to the following regulations.

  • The matches last 25 minutes and have no rest. Hockey is played according to the rules of the KNHB.
  • The scoring is as follows: win 3 points, draw 1 point, loss 0 points.
  • The tournament is not a mixed tournament, which means that boys play hockey against boys and girls against girls. This is strictly controlled.
  • The first team mentioned in the match schedule is allowed to tee off.
  • The score is first taken into account by the number of points. If the number of points is equal, the goal difference will be taken into account. If this is also equal, mutual results count. In the event of a tie after regular playing time in play-off matches, the decision will be forced on the basis of shoot-outs.
  • We expect everyone to put in a serious effort during the matches.
  • The teams are expected to all play in the same uniform during the match.
  • There will be strict checks on compliance with the hockey rules, and it is forbidden to allow accompaniments to play along.
  • Every team must also have a goalkeeper during the tournament.
